As industrial floors are often subjected to traffic, severe wear
and chemical attack, they demand some form of protection in order
to avoid the need for regular and costly maintenance. However
well constructed concrete floors are, concrete has a natural tendency
to shrink and floor slabs suffer vertical movement, resulting
in a cracked, brittle, uneven floor surface which is invariably
a significant safety hazard. Furthermore, such floors not only
have an unsightly appearance, they also have little chemical resistance,
are difficult to clean, are slippery and are prone to water penetration,
corrosion and bacterial contamination.
Our resinous flooring range has been designed to enhance
the appearance of floors in industrial environments whilst
offering vital protection against impact damage, abrasion,
chemicals and all other forms of deterioration. The finish
and texture can be adjusted to suit individual requirements,
and the majority of systems can incorporate an anti-bacterial
agent to prevent the surface growth of bacteria, mould and
other micro-organisms in hygiene sensitive environments.
Furthermore, areas susceptible to substrate movement can
be protected with a state-of-the-art, 100% solids epoxy
which is capable of bridging and filling cracks.
Representing some of the most durable, versatile and cost-effective
flooring systems currently available, Our high
performance seamless finishes facilitate the extension of
maintenance cycles and keep down-time costs to an absolute
minimum.

HYGIENIC
SYSTEMS
USES
Specifically designed for use in sterile environments,
hygienic systems can be used in conjunction with any flooring system. Typical installations include
surfacing floors in food processing and preparation areas,
kitchens, breweries, dairies, laboratories, pharmaceutical
areas, hospitals and healthcare facilities.
DESCRIPTION
Hygienic systems are clear or pigmented 100% solids epoxy
resins used as the binder resin for flooring systems.
They contain a high performance anti-microbial agent which
combats against several species of bacteria, mould, fungi,
yeasts and viruses, including E.coli, penicillium and salmonella.
KEY FEATURES
Seamless and easy to clean
Low odour emission, allowing application during normal
working hours
Effective against the growth of a wide range of micro-organisms
User friendly, containing no phenols, mercurials or heavy
metal complexes
Epoxy based, and therefore highly resistant to wear, impact,
abrasion and chemical attack
Highly durable, as they last the life span of the flooring
system to which they are applied
Each hygienic system is tailored to meet your specific
functional and aesthetic needs; limitless designs and colours
are available in some systems
High gloss and satin finishes available
EPO-FLEX
In industrial
environments, flooring systems are often applied over cement
based substrates, which themselves are highly susceptible
to cracking and are therefore the weakest part of any epoxy
floor. In the past, conventional urethanes and flexibilised
epoxies have been used as crack bridging membranes, but
they have severe limitations in that urethane elastomers
can be high in Volatile Organic Content (VOC) and flexibilised
epoxies lose their flexibility over time. This is why we introduced Epo-Flex - a unique state-of-the-art,
100% solids epoxy - which can be used independently or in
conjunction with any flooring system as a crack bridging
and waterproofing membrane. Unlike flexibilised epoxies,
it contains no plasticizers and will remain flexible throughout
the lifetime of the floor on which it is applied. Furthermore,
it is solvent free and exhibits far superior substrate adhesion
and strength than most urethane elastomers. For even further
protection, a glass fibre scrim can also be incorporated
to create the Flex-Grid system. This is highly effective
at preventing cracking transmission.
HMC
Membrane
USES
HMC Membrane is ideal for resurfacing old, worn or rough
concrete, in order to significantly reduce vapour transmission.
DESCRIPTION
HMC Membrane is a polymer and epoxy modified cementitious
dampproof membrane. It is used to protect our resin flooring
systems from blistering and adhesion loss, which may otherwise
be caused by water transmission from the base slab.
KEY
FEATURES
Environmentally friendly (zero Volatile Organic Content)
Excellent adhesion to dry or damp cementitious substrates
Rapid hardening
Easy to apply
CRYSTAL
CAST
USES

component parts to Ceramic Carpet with the incorporation
of a vinyl adhered logo or motif. It enables custom designs
and artwork to become a permanent and integral part of the
seamless flooring system.
