Aesthetic,
well designed surroundings undoubtedly make a favourable impression
on visitors to areas such as shopping centres, hotels, airport
terminals, showrooms and retail outlets. One of the most effective
ways of transforming even the most mundane of buildings into a
highly attractive, welcoming environment is to install a decorative
flooring system.
Not only
will it bring quality and prestige to the structure, it
will also offer maximum return on your investment by extending
maintenance cycles far beyond the capability of most other
flooring systems. The most decorative flooring system available
within the range is Thin Set Epoxy Terrazzo, which combines
the sheer splendour of terrazzo systems originally designed
by the Romans, with today’s technologically advanced polymer
chemistry. This combination results in an exceptionally
long lasting flooring system which offers great design flexibility
to incorporate any colours, patterns or features. Simply
no design is too flamboyant, outrageous or complicated.
In fact, the only limitation to specifying a flooring
system is the designer’s imagination.
Other
products in the range also allow endless style possibilities,
even the integration of permanent artwork, such as logos,
emblems or mascots. Consistently providing exceptional performance,
we can provide a flooring system of unparalleled beauty
and durability.
THIN
SET EPOXY TERRAZZO SYSTEMS
USES
Thin Set Epoxy Terrazzo is ideal for application to areas
where it is vitally important to create a highly aesthetic
flooring finish. Suited for both new build and renovation
projects, its virtually indestructible surface makes it
suitable for public areas such as shopping centres, hotels,
reception areas, restaurants, convention centres, airport
terminals, town halls, banks and office buildings.
DESCRIPTION
Thin Set Epoxy Terrazzo represents the ultimate in durable,
decorative flooring. Combining pigmented epoxy resins with
coloured granite chips, marble or other aggregates within
a trowelled mortar system which is ground and polished to
reveal the natural beauty of the stones, Thin Set Epoxy
Terrazzo opens up a complete vista of design, colour and
creative possibilities.
Applied at a
thickness of 6-7mm or 9-10mm, Thin Set Epoxy Terrazzo offers
significant advantages over conventional cementitious terrazzo
systems, which can be susceptible to shrinkage and require
the incorporation of divider strips. This, along with colours
restricted to earth tones, can limit the scope for design.
Conversely, Thin Set Epoxy Terrazzo is available in an endless
range of strikingly vibrant colours. Divider strips of zinc,
brass, coloured plastic or steel are optional and it is
approximately 10 times lighter in weight than cementitious
terrazzo, making it ideal for multi-storey applications.
With a wearing capacity several times longer than conventional
counterparts and with a life span that usually equals the
life of the building, Thin Set Epoxy Terrazzo is truly the
most cost-effective and logical option.
In addition,
the outstanding strength properties of the resin matrix
confer unsurpassed wear and abrasion resistance to ensure
that floors installed many years ago look just as good as
those installed today.

CERAMIC
CARPET™
USES
Ceramic Carpet is perfectly suited for application in commercial
and institutional facilities, such as lobbies, corridors,
showrooms and other areas where an aesthetically pleasing
flooring system is desired. Skid inhibiting variants are
ideal for use in areas frequently subjected to spillages
and wet conditions such as indoor pool areas, kitchens,
toilets, showers and food service areas.
When Epo-Flex
- elastomeric epoxy - is incorporated it is particularly
recommended for areas subjected to vehicular traffic or
high foot traffic such as decks and balconies.
DESCRIPTION
Comprised of multi-coloured quartz aggregates embedded in
clear epoxy resins, Ceramic Carpet has a distinctive speckled
finished appearance that combines aesthetics with functionality.
The surface texture can be adjusted to meet specific end
use requirements and limitless colour options are available.
Exhibiting
far superior wear resistance to most vinyl or carpet systems,
Ceramic Carpet is highly durable, whilst remaining easy
to clean and maintain.

CRYSTAL
CAST™
USES
Crystal Cast is suitable for use in a wide variety of areas
subjected to light or moderate traffic, such as corridors,
recreation areas, retail and sports facilities.
DESCRIPTION
Composed of the same constituent parts as Ceramic Carpet
with the incorporation of a vinyl adhered logo or motif,
Crystal Cast enables designs and artwork to become a permanent
and integral part of the seamless flooring system. It combines
the performance advantages of Ceramic Carpet with unlimited
design flexibility to create either simple or elaborate
features. In fact, colours and layouts can literally be
what a designer puts down on paper.
Applied at a
thickness of circa 2mm, Crystal Cast allows very crisp colour
separation, as divider strips are not needed to separate
colours and patterns. And whilst extremely aesthetic, it
offers outstanding chemical resistance, ease of maintenance
and exceptional durability.
KEY FEATURES

made to suit your individual requirements
EPO-FLEX™
Most
flooring systems are installed over cement based substrates,
which are highly susceptible to cracking. Thus, it is important
to bear in mind that the weakest part of an epoxy floor
is the substrate beneath it. In the past, conventional urethanes
and ‘flexibilised’ epoxies have been used as crack bridging
membranes, but they have severe limitations in that urethane
elastomers can be high in Volatile Organic Content (VOC)
and flexibilised epoxies lose their flexibility over time.
Epo-Flex
- a truly elastomeric, 100% solids epoxy - was introduced
to address these issues. It exhibits distinct advantages
over conventional urethane elastomers in that it is solvent
free and has far superior adhesion to substrates. And, unlike
flexibilised epoxies, it contains no plasticizers and will
remain flexible throughout the lifetime of the floor on
which it is installed.
FLEX-GRID™
USES
Particularly suited for use under our Thin Set Epoxy Terrazzo
in areas susceptible to thermal and substrate movement,
such as balconies, decks and pedestrian walkways.
DESCRIPTION
Flex-Grid comprises Epo-Flex with glass fibre mesh to form
a crack isolation system that is extremely effective at
preventing cracking transmission. Combining the toughness,
high adhesion and durability of epoxies with flexibility
normally associated with alternative systems, Flex-Grid
confers high tensile strength to the finished system.
KEY FEATURES
• Bridges cracks, yet remains flexible even at low temperatures
• Excellent adhesion properties
• Zero Volatile Organic Content (VOC)
• Thermal shock resistant
• Serves as a waterproofing membrane under the flooring
system
